We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee a well-established vendor management team that is pivotal in fostering essential business relationships with partners. This role involves close collaboration with vendors, affiliates, and business partners to ensure effective third-party risk management oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, monitoring, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with relevant risk management guidelines.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with business partners and third-party vendors to understand their requirements for delivering products and services.
- Engage in sourcing and procurement activities related to new contracts, renewals, and amendments, providing strategic advice to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with business partners and vendors on risk management deliverables to ensure adherence to enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
- Gather data to create vendor scorecards that assess performance, addressing areas needing improvement and monitoring resolutions.
- Continuously update vendor management tools with requirements, risk assessments, performance metrics, and supporting documents.
- Lead governance meetings focused on service level metrics and issue management, contributing to the evaluation of service quality.
- Participate in vendor risk assessment discussions and manage follow-up actions with vendors.
- Conduct governance meetings with business lines and vendors to address third-party vendor issues effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in third-party risk management.
- Demonstrated expertise in third-party risk management principles.
- Comprehensive understanding of banking products and services.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Self-motivated individual capable of meeting demanding schedules and deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
