We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead our vendor management initiatives, focusing on fostering essential business relationships with key partners. This role involves close collaboration with vendors, affiliates, and business stakeholders to ensure effective third-party risk management oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, monitoring, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain strong working relationships with business partners and third-party vendors to align on business requirements for product and service delivery.
- Engage in sourcing and procurement activities related to new contracts, renewals, and amendments, providing strategic advice to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with business partners and vendors on risk management deliverables to ensure adherence to enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain accurate vendor performance data.
- Develop and manage vendor scorecards to track performance metrics, working directly with vendors to address areas needing improvement.
- Continuously update vendor management tools with relevant vendor information, risk assessments, and performance documentation.
- Facilitate governance meetings focused on service level metrics and issue management, contributing to the ongoing evaluation of service quality.
- Participate in vendor risk assessment discussions and manage follow-up actions with vendors.
- Conduct governance meetings with business lines and vendors to address third-party vendor issues effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in third-party risk management.
- Proven expertise in understanding third-party risk management principles.
- In-depth knowledge of banking products and services.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Self-motivated individual capable of meeting demanding schedules and deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
