We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee a well-established vendor management team, responsible for fostering essential business relationships with partners. This role involves close collaboration with vendors, affiliates, and business partners to ensure effective third-party risk management oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, oversight, monitoring, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with risk management guidelines.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with business partners and third-party vendors to align with business requirements for service delivery.
- Engage in sourcing and procurement activities for new contracts, renewals, and amendments, providing strategic advice to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with business partners and vendors on risk management deliverables to meet enterprise, banking, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to reporting obligations and maintain accurate records.
- Collect and analyze data to create vendor scorecards that track performance, directly addressing areas needing improvement with vendors.
- Continuously update the Vendor Management Tool and related systems with vendor requirements, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
- Lead governance meetings focused on service level metrics and issue management, contributing to the evaluation of service quality.
- Participate in Vendor Risk Assessment discussions and manage follow-up actions with vendors.
- Conduct governance meetings with business lines and vendors to address third-party vendor issues effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in third-party risk management.
- Demonstrated expertise in third-party risk management principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking products and services.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills at senior leadership levels.
- Self-motivated individual capable of meeting demanding schedules and deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
