We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee a well-established vendor management team, responsible for fostering essential business relationships with partners. This role involves close collaboration with vendors, affiliates, and business partners to ensure effective third-party risk management oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, oversight, monitoring, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with risk management guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with business partners and third-party vendors to align with business requirements for service delivery.
  • Engage in sourcing and procurement activities for new contracts, renewals, and amendments, providing strategic advice to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with business partners and vendors on risk management deliverables to meet enterprise, banking, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure adherence to reporting obligations and maintain accurate records.
  • Collect and analyze data to create vendor scorecards that track performance, directly addressing areas needing improvement with vendors.
  • Continuously update the Vendor Management Tool and related systems with vendor requirements, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Lead governance meetings focused on service level metrics and issue management, contributing to the evaluation of service quality.
  • Participate in Vendor Risk Assessment discussions and manage follow-up actions with vendors.
  • Conduct governance meetings with business lines and vendors to address third-party vendor issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in third-party risk management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in third-party risk management principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills at senior leadership levels.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of meeting demanding schedules and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
