Job Summary:

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Vendor Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our vendor management team, you will be responsible for driving key business relationships with business partners across our bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor lifecycle management, including onboarding, oversight, monitoring, and issues remediation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining working relationships with business partners and third-party vendors to understand business requirements and deliver products and services.
  • Participating in sourcing and procurement processes related to new contracts, renewals, and amendments, advising on opportunities to avoid or mitigate risk.
  • Engaging business partners and vendors on risk management deliverables to ensure compliance with enterprise, bank, and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhering to reporting requirements and collecting data to develop vendor scorecards that track performance.
  • Working directly with vendors on areas needing resolution and monitoring remediation.
  • Continuous updating of Archer and Vendor Management Tool on vendors' requirements, risk assessments, and questionnaires.
  • Leading governance meetings on service level metrics, issue management, and contributing to an ongoing process of evaluating service quality.
  • Participating in vendor risk assessment calls and managing all subsequent actions with vendors.
  • Conducting governance meetings with line of business and vendors.
  • Managing third-party vendor issues and communicating appropriately within the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of third-party risk management work experience.
  • Proven track record of understanding third-party risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of banking, products, and services.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across senior leadership levels.
  • Tenacious self-starter able to work to a demanding schedule and deliver to specific deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
