Job Summary

The Director of Digital Channel Deployment will be responsible for developing and overseeing an integrated digital experience for Commercial websites, emails, messaging programs, and podcasts for Pharmiweb worldwide. This role will define, build, and support the WW Website Engagement strategy to drive customer engagement with Pharmiweb via the web, providing a seamless, consistent, and optimized experience across multiple digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business ownership of relevant platforms and channels used for content deployment and customer engagement.
  • Ensuring content to customers across multiple digital devices for products, campaigns, services, and other business initiatives.
  • Responsible for the roadmap, standards, processes, training, and change management of the web capabilities and support for other digital channels.
  • Ensuring the web content is up to standard and consistent with the organization's approach.
  • Partnership with other channel deployment leads to drive adoption and performance of home office emails and messaging, podcast channels, and personalization technologies across the channels.
  • Facilitating the content creation and approval process with established standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Driving customer engagement with the brand through user-friendly web platforms and seamless integration with other capabilities like WW Reg, Live chat, social share, podcast, one-way messaging, emails, and other digital channels.
  • Business product owner of the Build Easy platform, including strategy, development, and direction of the worldwide website capabilities team through creation of standards, roadmap, operational models, and platforms.
  • Creating and partnering in the execution of innovative and effective digital delivery capabilities and strategies that can be leveraged company-wide.
  • Identifying key connection points across matrix partners (Brands, Markets, Engagement Planners, Medical, BI&A, Commercial, Clinical Trials, IT, procurement, business, legal, medical, regulatory, compliance, and others) to facilitate the well-thought-out execution of initiatives.
  • Partnering closely and leading with other internal and external teams to ensure organizational alignment and drive efficiency company-wide, aligning with enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Extensive experience and subject matter expertise - interfacing with various levels of leadership to educate and evangelize them on available capabilities and drive alignment on the path forward for their business.
  • Local Market digital channel customizations, including building market-specific capabilities for key international markets, driving thought leadership on the impact of omni-channel capabilities, and enabling future enhancements and evolution.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in leading omni-channel touchpoints, understanding of digital channels - web, home office emails, SMS, one-way messaging, personalization technologies.
  • Deep experience in web-related technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree required or graduate degree preferred.
  • Significant experience interfacing with different levels of organization.
  • Experience in omni-channel capabilities.
  • Proven ability in managing digital agencies, capability vendors, and cross-functional support teams.
  • Demonstrated excellence in operational effectiveness.
  • Proven track record of coordinating and collaborating across multiple teams to prioritize varying business objectives and drive action to meet business requirements; recognized as an influential leader with credibility in conflict management and expectation management.
  • Proven track record of planning, prioritizing, and driving new omni-channel capabilities within a complex organization.
  • Development/execution through effective project management and internal negotiation skills to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations.
  • 15+ years in project/program management.
  • Experience and knowledge of navigating the Legal/Medical/Regulatory review process in new omni-channel capabilities.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred.
  • Experience working with commercial and medical/R&D business partners preferred.
  • Both US and ex-US business experience.
