Our Requirement: Availability on Weekends from 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Activity Assistant:

  • Assist in the creation and execution of a dynamic daily program for residents.
  • Lead and facilitate individual, small group, and large group activities as per the programming schedule.
  • Encourage and guide residents in pursuing independent activities, both individually and in small groups.
  • Support residents' capabilities by recognizing that all aspects of care can be considered an activity.
  • Demonstrate awareness of residents' backgrounds, participation needs, physical abilities, interests, cognitive capacities, and attention spans.
  • Report any changes in residents' conditions or behavior patterns to the Activity Director.
