Gal Manager 10th Judicial District

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gal Manager to join our team in the 10th Judicial District. As a Gal Manager, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect supervision to Guardian ad Litem staff, ensuring the effective implementation of program operations, administration, budgeting, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect leadership to GAL Coordinators and their staff through coaching, assistance, and guidance.
- Oversight and participation in servicing, assignment, processing, and monitoring of progress, compliance, and results of all on-going cases to which a GAL is assigned.
- Organize and lead district and direct staff meetings.
- Ensure timely written or oral recommendations are made in the best interest of children to the court, probation/social worker, placement staff, and other providers.
- Secure and use legal services on behalf of a GAL or Program when required.
- Review, analyze, and interpret applicable rules and laws.
- Develop and recommend district goals, improvements, and standards.
- Prepare, review, and maintain statistical and other district information.
- Track and prepare district trend information.
- Update and monitor GAL productivity in case management system for the district.
- May conduct investigations and seek resolution on complaints against Guardians ad Litem.
- Manage and oversee recruitment, screening, interviewing, and selection process for district staff.
- Support, coordinate, and assist Program in training of district staff to include pre-service, mentorship, local court orientation, and continuing education.
- Represent the GAL Program's 10th Judicial District to judicial, social services, and other external as well as internal partners.
- Respond to inquiries about the GAL program, roles, and responsibilities, providing presentations to community groups, and serving as a liaison to the community.
- Administration and oversight of district program budget.
- Prepare budget projections.
- Review and authorize other program expenditures.
- Initiate and approve contracts for services.
- Participate in state, district, and local committees and task forces to promote and coordinate the GAL program.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience in a non-profit, public sector, social services, or legal field.
- Must reside near the assigned service area.
- Possession of a valid Minnesota driver's license.
