The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient.

The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.

The CNA may also perform clerical, receptionist, and transport duties in accordance with missions, goals, and objectives of Mesa View Regional Hospital.

He/she facilitates the information and activity flow to and from the nursing unit. He/she performs registration duties as assigned. Responsible to answer phones, take messages, make phone calls, fax orders, order entry, etc. Assists with scheduling and billing for infusion patients. He/she will have good customer service, computer and organizational skills. All other duties as assigned that are within the scope of practice.
