Position Overview

An established enterprise-level sports retail organization is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to contribute to a new initiative focused on developing an application from inception. This project is projected to span a significant timeframe, emphasizing the creation of a Costing Solution that enhances visibility into various material, cost, and labor data. This solution aims to empower business partners to make informed decisions by identifying opportunities for reduced labor and material costs, as well as lower overhead expenses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust, high-performance, and reusable test tools and automated test suites, enabling Agile teams to deliver superior quality releases efficiently.

Technological Environment

The team will oversee a Nike Platform utilizing systems constructed in Spring Boot, operating on EC2 and ECS via Fargate in AWS. The organization employs technologies such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and Aurora. A DevOps culture is practiced, managing their own VPC and ALB networking layers, deploying through Jenkins, and monitoring with CloudWatch, Splunk, and SignalFx.

Core Competencies

  • Proficiency in Test Café and Cypress for test automation
  • Experience with Selenium, JIRA, and AWS
  • Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, DynamoDB, and MongoDB
  • Familiarity with programming languages and technologies including Java and Node.js
  • Experience with CI/CD processes, particularly using Jenkins

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in QA Automation
  • Proven experience in developing, executing, and maintaining software and scripts for automated testing across various products
