The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (SDET) plays a pivotal role in the development of testing frameworks, integration processes, and validation of innovative products.

This
SDET will focus on crafting and executing tests, troubleshooting issues, and establishing corrective measures prior to product releases to guarantee optimal software performance and alignment with client expectations, all while maintaining cost efficiency.

Collaboration with the QA team will be essential throughout these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to formulate and implement test cases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to ascertain system requirements.
  • Evaluate application (GUI) software alongside networked audio/media systems utilizing embedded software.
  • Assess interaction scenarios with finalized hardware devices.
  • Design and document methodologies for effective testing and debugging of our offerings.
  • Create software that automates the testing of other software using Python.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, detailed, and well-structured test plans and cases.
  • Establish and implement testing protocols for both new and existing products to fulfill client requirements.
  • Maintain internal QA-specific information systems to monitor quality assurance metrics (bug tracking, test servers).
  • Validate defect resolutions, including regression testing of relevant areas.
  • Stay informed about emerging testing tools and methodologies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will possess the following blend of experience, knowledge, and skills: Proficiency in C# or object-oriented Python programming; Java is acceptable but not preferred.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Development Engineer.
  • Candidates must have a solid understanding of Software Quality Assurance techniques; development-only experience will not be considered.
  • Prior experience in audio-visual technology is highly desirable, along with familiarity with digital video.
  • A methodical approach to problem-solving with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and resolving challenging situations using appropriate methods.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
