Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and accurately, documenting vehicle concerns and creating repair orders.
  • Ensure all repair orders and related paperwork are completed accurately and legibly, addressing all customer requests.
  • Gather necessary customer and vehicle information, including signatures, to complete repair orders.
  • Process paperwork efficiently as jobs are completed.
  • Review repairs and modifications with customers upon vehicle delivery.
  • Assist in scheduling service appointments, allowing adequate time for repairs and maintenance.
  • Monitor ongoing work to ensure repairs are conducted properly and within the promised timeframe, notifying customers of any delays.
  • Utilize service files to recommend additional repairs or services as needed.
  • Estimate costs and completion times, seeking assistance from the Service Manager when necessary.
  • Pay special attention to repeat repairs, ensuring the original technician is assigned to any follow-up jobs.
  • Notify customers when backordered parts are available.
  • Determine warranty coverage and verify repair dates and mileage.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively, implementing measures to reduce future issues.
  • Conduct walk-around inspections of customer vehicles, noting any damage.
  • Arrange alternative transportation for customers as needed and manage loaner vehicles.
  • Work towards improving dealership customer satisfaction in alignment with OpenRoad's policies.
  • Maintain organized paperwork and ensure the reception area is tidy.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and report any accidents to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in detailing or cleaning high-end vehicles, with knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey customer needs to management and the parts team.
  • Flexibility in work scheduling, including availability on weekends.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with automotive equipment.
  • Understanding of customer satisfaction and retention techniques.
  • Ability to maintain records and generate reports using computerized systems.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Strong decision-making skills in line with job responsibilities.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
