Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role within the executive leadership team, tasked with steering the financial direction, operations, and overall performance of the organization. This role is crucial in shaping financial strategies that resonate with the company's long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the broader business goals.
  • Oversee comprehensive financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage relationships with investors and stakeholders, acting as the primary financial representative of the organization.
  • Lead initiatives to secure funding, including both debt and equity, while optimizing the capital structure.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape corporate strategy, identifying growth opportunities and managing risks.
  • Supervise the finance department, ensuring operational efficiency and providing expertise on complex financial matters.
  • Oversee risk management and insurance programs to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Engage in mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling and integration planning.
  • Monitor economic and regulatory trends that may influence the organization, advising the executive team accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership capacity, ideally as a CFO in a publicly traded company.
  • Extensive knowledge of SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and capital market operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing investor relations and capital acquisition efforts.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High integrity and reliability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset.
