Job Title: Veterinary ER Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary ER Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our emergency department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities:
  • Triage patients and provide immediate life-saving care under the direction of the ER doctor
  • Assess pets and provide history, vitals, and concerns to doctors to assist in the timely and appropriate management of emergency patients
  • Work with float technicians and assistants to perform diagnostics, execute treatment plans, and hospitalize patients
  • Communicate medical updates, financials, and treatment plans to owners
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of animal experience required
  • Veterinary Technician Certification
Preferred Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills to provide excellent and efficient patient care
  • Ability to multitask and anticipate needs
  • Excellent communication skills in all areas, including clients, staff, and leadership
