Job Title: Veterinary Technician - Intermediate Ward

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in the Intermediate Ward at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team.

Job Summary:

The Intermediate Ward Technician will be responsible for providing care for hospitalized patients, assessing patients, and facilitating treatments under the direction of the supervising veterinarian. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Assess patients and facilitate treatments under the direction of the supervising veterinarian.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Perform standard technician duties, including patient restraint, venipuncture, and radiographs.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients and staff.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of Veterinary Technician experience required.
  • Colorado Registered Veterinary Technician or the ability to become registered upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year Veterinary Technician experience in an Emergency or Specialty Practice.
