Job Title: Per Diem Outpatient ER Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Outpatient ER Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our emergency department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Outpatient ER Technician will be responsible for triaging patients, assessing their condition, and providing immediate life-saving care under the direction of our ER doctors. You will work closely with our veterinary team to perform diagnostics, execute treatment plans, and communicate with pet owners to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Triaging patients and providing immediate life-saving care under the direction of ER doctors
  • Assessing patient condition and providing vital signs and medical history to ER doctors
  • Performing standard technician duties, including patient restraint, venipuncture, and medication administration
  • Collaborating with our veterinary team to perform diagnostics and execute treatment plans
  • Communicating with pet owners to provide medical updates and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of animal experience required
  • Veterinary Technician Certification required

  • Strong technical skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with our veterinary team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress well
