As a Grant Management Specialist with the Department of State Health Services, you will play a critical role in preparing and managing federal grant applications for tuberculosis (TB) and Hansen's disease programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare grant applications, including budgets, to meet federal grant requirements
- Review incoming applications to determine budget requirements and standards, ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Monitor grant awards and serve as liaison between grantors and the Department of State Health Services
- Review and analyze financial impact of proposals involving contracts, grants, and other agreements
- Develop and maintain internal processes to track expenditures in the Unit
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including program staff, to ensure smooth grant management processes. This includes collaborating with the Contract Management Section, Budget Office, Funds Coordination Management Branch, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division for TB Elimination (DTBE), and the National Hansen's Disease Program.
Reporting and Analysis:You will develop and prepare operational and statistical reports for Unit management, providing critical insights into grant performance and financial operations.
Essential Job Functions:- Attend work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy
