Job Overview

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Aurora, CO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a cloud-based platform infrastructure that meets the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a cloud-based platform infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Develop and maintain automated build, integration, and deployment pipelines using DevOps tools and practices.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
  • Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
  • Provide operational support for the platform and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Requirements
  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience with RedHat Linux and cloud-based technologies, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)/ Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab).
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
  • Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore).
  • Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework.
Pay Range

$80.00 - $90.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
