Homelessness Advocate with Psychosocial Rehabilitation Skills

- Member Engagement: Engage and enroll new members, develop recovery plans, and mediate on behalf of members to help them obtain and keep housing, healthcare benefits, and entitlements.
- Community Outreach: Visit members in their residences, hospitals, or jails, transport them to appointments, and observe individual and group activities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete program documentation and paperwork in accordance with MHALA, County Contracted Provider, and funding source standards and requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in staff and community meetings, contribute to day-to-day operations, and support team members in achieving community integration, education, and employment goals.
This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. You will be working with diverse populations, including Veterans and transition-age youth, and must be knowledgeable about harm reduction philosophy and motivational interviewing techniques.
The salary for this position is $24.00 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.
