Job Overview

We offer comprehensive services to support individuals in achieving their recovery goals.

These services include mental and physical healthcare, homelessness prevention, housing assistance, supported employment, and wellness and financial support.

In addition, we provide training programs for individuals entering the behavioral health workforce and for the wider community.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Directly assist program participants facing mental health challenges to help them achieve their recovery objectives.
  • Evaluate members' needs and develop a personalized Recovery Plan to guide our services.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate services for our members.
  • Record services in our Electronic Health Record, adhering to L.A. County Department of Mental Health and MHALA policies.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent necessary; bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience providing psychosocial rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with motivational interviewing and harm reduction practices.
  • A valid California driver's license, a vehicle for transportation, proof of car insurance, and ability to obtain MHALA's liability insurance are essential.

Salary: $24.00 per hour, 35 hours per week, with compensation based on experience and other factors allowed by law.
