**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Clinical Therapist to join our team at U.S. VETS, a leading organization dedicated to providing support services to homeless veterans. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality clinical therapeutic services to veterans in need.

Key Responsibilities**

  • Clinical Therapeutic Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to veterans using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Client Assessment and Treatment Planning:** Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans to address their mental health and wellness goals.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, community organizations, and government agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Program Development and Evaluation: Contribute to the development and evaluation of new programs and services aimed at improving outcomes for homeless veterans.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide clinical supervision and training to junior therapists and contribute to the professional development of staff members.

Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Education: Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Independent professional licensure in the state where the site is located, which includes meeting state requirements for conducting alcohol and drug counseling.
  • Experience: At least two years of direct clinical experience using evidence-based therapies, preferably working with homeless populations and veterans.
  • Skills:* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Compensation and Benefits**

The salary for this position is approximately $ $63,900 per year, based on industry standards and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
