Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Aligned Data Centers. As a key member of our critical facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our 24x7 facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform extensive hands-on analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical and non-critical mechanical and/or electrical machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of the building.
  • Equipment Installation and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain critical and non-critical equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression systems, life safety systems, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems.
  • Electrical Operations and Maintenance: Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all Change control development, approvals, and execution.
  • Scheduling and Quality Assurance: Schedule, develop, and quality assure all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance.
  • Work Execution and Documentation: Routinely perform all work in strict accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures and maintenance work instructions. Operate and monitor critical and non-critical system equipment and components. Receive and execute work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building physical structure.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma and minimum 3-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years' experience as an HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
  • Certifications: Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
