Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Kehoe Designs. As a key member of our maintenance and operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Maintenance: Conduct regular equipment checks, perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, and ensure that all facilities and equipment are safe and up to code.
  • Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and construction-related problems.
  • Facility Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades and renovations to enhance the overall functionality and safety of our facilities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in facility and equipment maintenance and repair, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proven knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines, trade standards, and building codes; ability to use tools and equipment, including hammer, screwdriver, hand drill, tape measure, dollies, and ladders.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend, and reach during entire work shift; able to walk 50% of the work shift; ability to work with hands and arms during entire shift.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels; exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 30-40 lbs. throughout the shift; occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
