Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineering Technician to contribute to the optimization of product performance within a manufacturing environment. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and reliability of electronic components.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in electronics or completion of several relevant courses in the electrical field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, particularly with PCB/control boards that include components such as resistors, diodes, inductors, and EMC elements like filters.
  • Proficient in interpreting schematics and validating operational effectiveness.
  • Hands-on experience with SMT component bonding to PCBs, troubleshooting electronic circuits, and utilizing scopes and meters.
  • Experience in data collection and laboratory equipment maintenance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized computer program, such as UNH.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • The Electronics Engineering Technician will be responsible for following schematics, verifying the functionality of electronic systems, and systematically gathering and documenting data.
  • This role requires a collaborative mindset, as the technician will work closely with team members to select and evaluate electronic components ranging from Vac/dc to 400 Vac.
  • Key tasks include installing and testing heating functions, assessing power supplies, DC/AC converters, and buck-boost circuits.
  • The technician will also conduct research to identify alternative devices and provide design recommendations to enhance product performance.
