Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform a range of essential tasks involved in the assembly, wiring, and soldering of electrical and electronic panel assemblies, printed wiring boards, and harnesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize wiring diagrams, operation sheets, and assembly workbooks to execute various assembly operations, ensuring compliance with military standards and high reliability specifications.
  • Employ both automatic and manual tools to secure terminals, connectors, splices, and contacts onto wires at designated termination points.
  • Skillfully use a soldering iron to attach pins and wires to connectors and relays.
  • Utilize hand tools to assemble, route, tie, and install components on harnesses, black boxes, subassemblies, and related assemblies.
  • Apply protective coatings and perform touch-ups as necessary, ensuring the integrity of the assemblies.
  • Complete assemblies by connecting wires to plugs, ground lugs, switches, and circuit breakers.
  • Address discrepancies by replacing defective components and perform simple repairs or modifications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all operations performed and adhere to waste segregation and housekeeping practices.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with 0-1 year of relevant experience. The ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions is essential.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with manufacturing environments and tooling, as well as a basic understanding of electronic theory and manufacturing processes, is highly desirable.

Work Environment:

This position requires onsite work at a designated facility, with a standard full-time schedule. Lockheed Martin offers a variety of alternate work schedules to provide flexibility to employees.
