Job Description

This Homeless Services Advocate role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. As a Residential Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support services, facilitating connections to community resources, and advocating on behalf of clients to address systemic barriers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Case Managers, Program Managers, and security personnel, to ensure a cohesive and effective response to client needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as healthcare providers, social services agencies, and government entities, to access resources and services that benefit clients.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, case management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HUD definition of homelessness and chronically homeless populations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
Salary Range:

$25.00-$27.00 per hour
