About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Team Lead. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will be responsible for managing electrical personnel and projects, with a broad focus encompassing strategic planning, business development, client management, project delivery, operations, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and increase market share.
  • Leadership: Guide and develop the skills of electrical personnel, building a culture that supports productivity, innovation, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Operations: Recommend best practices and identify opportunities for future project profitability and quality, providing regular reports to management on the performance of the quality control process.
  • Client Management: Develop and implement comprehensive business solutions that meet or exceed client objectives, attending client meetings and making client presentations as required.
  • Project Delivery: Support project teams throughout all phases of the project, ensuring a high level of service and support to clients, and reviewing all work for conformance to design, technical, and quality standards.
  • Strategic Development: Research and source new systems, materials, and resources, analyzing processes, procedures, and working practices to identify and implement changes to increase efficiency, quality, and overall profitability.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer with registration in 1 or multiple states.
  • 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with some leadership experience.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Solid knowledge and application of electrical requirements per building codes, energy codes, and other related standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent client and project management skills.
  • Strong Leadership skills, able to delegate and manage staff and teams.
  • LEED Accredited Professional is preferred but not essential.
