At Page Southerland Page, Inc., we strive to deliver innovative design solutions that make a lasting impact. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team of experienced designers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior designers to develop electrical plans and specifications for large-scale projects.
  • Lead technical design efforts for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, ensuring seamless coordination with cross-discipline teams.
  • Conduct site surveys and analyze feasibility reports to identify potential construction issues.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including electrical equipment layouts, site plans, and construction specifications.
  • Provide construction administration services to contractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Interact with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to resolve design and construction-related issues.
  • Develop photometric studies and model electrical systems using industry-standard tools.
  • Specify electrical equipment, including transformers, switchboards, and motors, ensuring compliance with IEEE standards.
  • Mentor junior design staff and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial, healthcare, mission-critical, and institutional buildings.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineering License required.
  • Previous managerial experience leading a team of engineers on projects.
  • Strong relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM System(s), specifically REVIT MEP.
  • Working knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Familiarity with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical and plumbing requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting and lighting control systems, fire alarm system design, and grounding and lightning protection systems.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
