Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical engineering team and manage project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare detailed project proposals and ensure accurate project estimates.
- Conduct project planning, scheduling, and coordination of various phases of project work.
- Facilitate design and construction meetings.
- Design electrical distribution systems for commercial facilities, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Perform necessary calculations to support design initiatives.
- Conduct site visits for field evaluations and observations.
- Assist in marketing and business development efforts in collaboration with the Marketing Director.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in successfully completing electrical engineering projects.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on planning and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam, along with the MS Office Suite.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Project Management Certification is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design within an architectural or MEP firm.
- LEED accreditation is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of maintaining successful client relationships.
- Advanced planning and organizational skills, capable of leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
