Job Summary

As a Business Development Executive at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc., you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with transportation spend of $30 million and above. This includes meeting with executive decision makers to discuss our service offerings and developing strategies to sell to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct lead generation activities, including cold calling, networking, and other opportunity prospecting methods.
  • Meet with customers and prospective customers to discuss viable opportunities and understand their business needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and customers to implement solutions, including participation in kick-off meetings.
  • Monitor the health of accounts, including customer KPI review, revenue quality monitoring, and contract and pay terms review.
  • Visit customers at their corporate headquarters or other sites as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or similar.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship. The expected starting pay range for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000.
