Position: Information Technology Site Lead

Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Job Overview

As a vital part of the Site Technology Servicing team, you will provide on-site IT technical support, encompassing all users and hardware within the specified locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for IT support at the site.
  • Deliver end-user support for desktops, laptops, and office IT, including smart hand support for network and server issues.
  • Assist with software installations on end-user systems and servers as needed.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new users by preparing IT assets and tools.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including the collection and sanitization of IT assets.
  • Provide support for executives and VIPs.
  • Coordinate with the backend team for remote support on network and server issues.
  • Support IP phones, video conferencing, and Level 1 multifunction printer issues.
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise and personal desktop and laptop computers, productivity devices, and business applications.
  • Assist with midrange server support.
  • Support network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless access points with backend team assistance.
  • Manage tickets using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues.
  • Provide application support for Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to MS Windows 10.
  • Address MS Office 365 issues for end-users.
  • Oversee office IT asset management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
  • Work independently and manage in-house IT projects.
  • Focus on activities related to business-as-usual (BAU) operations, including SLAs, customer satisfaction, response times, average resolution times, and maintaining standard operating procedures and runbooks for global team use.
  • Provide technical guidance to site technicians, prioritizing workload and resource capacity planning.
  • Lead the project support team.
  • Manage asset/stock control, e-waste, site technician onboarding, training, process alignment, documentation, onsite training, and user education.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and technical expertise in a corporate environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems and their remote access capabilities.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of plant environments and relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft server technologies and associated user management tools, including Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint, File, Print, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on SLAs and user impact.
