Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute the sales strategy to enhance market presence through account development and community education regarding our services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources to implement our growth strategy.
  • Conduct consistent sales activities and document interactions with multiple contacts within each referral source.
  • Gain insights into customer needs to offer tailored solutions and secure ongoing referrals.
  • Promote awareness of our services within the healthcare community.
  • Act as a liaison among referral sources, patients and families navigating end-of-life care, and our agency.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Two to three years of successful experience in hospice sales is preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Creativity in generating marketing and community education ideas.
  • Strong communication skills with a positive and engaging demeanor.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and independent means of transportation.
  • Basic understanding of home health and hospice coverage issues.
  • Ability to optimize resource use for cost-effectiveness.
