Job Summary

The Business Office Administrator plays a crucial role in managing student financial accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices and expense reports, general ledger coding, and resolve vendor invoice/payment issues.
  • Advise students on payment options and financial policies, and post student tuition and fee payments.
  • Track and maintain student accounts throughout the collection process to ensure prompt payment of balances.
  • Coordinate sending inactive student accounts to outside collection agencies and assist with required documentation.
  • Assist in charging tuition and fees in CampusVue, preparing bank deposits, and entering data for reports.
Requirements
  • Two years of accounting systems experience or equivalent education in collections.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • CampusVue experience is a plus.
Work Environment

This is a non-exempt position, requiring 40 hours per week, with varying daily hours, and occasional evening and weekend work. The work environment is interior/office-based.
