We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Pure Smiles Dental Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Job Summary

The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for educating patients about proposed treatment plans, explaining health benefits, costs, timelines, payment options, and all other relevant information. You will also be responsible for scheduling consultations with our Specialty Doctor, calculating final costs for proposed dental treatment, and managing calls and leads received internally and from marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate patients about proposed treatment plans and explain health benefits, costs, timelines, payment options, and all other relevant information.
  • Schedule consultations with our Specialty Doctor.
  • Calculate final costs for proposed dental treatment and provide patients with their total cost and required down payment.
  • Manage calls and leads received internally and from marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager and Specialty Doctor to ensure patient payments are processed following office policy and procedures.
  • Create, maintain, and update required documentation and files about treatment plans, financial arrangements, and payments.
  • Focus on a streamlined process and deliver compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the entire full-arch implant process.
  • Generate regular reports to monitor case acceptances and follow-ups.
  • Act as the organization's full-arch treatment plan subject matter expert to ensure patient comprehension, answer inquiries, and resolve conflicts as they arise.
  • Ensure adherence to the practice's collection protocols.
  • Communicate with the Westerville and Findlay dental offices via phone and email about patient information.
  • Follow up on unscheduled treatment for targeted offices when time warrants.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of direct work experience as a high-level Treatment Coordinator.
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret, and explain high-dollar treatment plans to patients in a relatable way.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly effective written and verbal skills to communicate with patients and teammates.
  • Detail-oriented with strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Passionate about making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of our patients using warm and kind communication skills and relationship building.
  • Quickly adapts to change in practice policies, technology, and practice protocols.
  • Possesses high integrity and accountability.
  • Enjoys working with teams that like to have fun.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in practice management software such as Open Dental.
