The Business Development Manager is a key position within Bilfinger, responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the West Coast region. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction and maintenance services market, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue business growth opportunities that align with Bilfinger's strategic plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the West Coast region.
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement business plans.
- Lead the sales force in entering sales leads and producing sales reports.
- Research and report on industry trends, competitor activity, and client data.
- Develop and deliver presentations and marketing materials to target customers.
- Support the proposal and operations team in developing proposals and qualifications.
- Assist management with ad-hoc requests and special projects.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in fabric maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and construction services.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to travel routinely and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Salesforce and IIR, with experience in developing client outreach and business plans.
Bilfinger offers a competitive salary range of $175K - $220K, plus a variable compensation plan. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
