Position Title: District Manager
Reports To: Regional Manager

Position Summary

The District Manager is accountable for overseeing all operations within the designated Planet Fitness locations in a specific district. This role involves managing 3 to 8 fitness centers, each with direct reports of Club Managers.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure a superior and consistent customer experience across all fitness centers in the district.
  2. Analyze club performance metrics to develop corrective action strategies in collaboration with Club Managers.
  3. Maintain operational consistency across all locations, focusing on:
    1. Exceptional Member Experience
    2. Adherence to Planet Fitness and PF Baseline Fitness brand standards
    3. Facility cleanliness
    4. Implementation of member and HR policies
    5. Payroll management
    6. Front desk operations
    7. Facility maintenance and repairs
    8. Vendor relations and inventory management
  4. Oversee the recruitment, coaching, development, performance evaluations, and potential disciplinary actions of Club Managers within the district.
  5. Foster staff development to prepare candidates for future Club Manager roles.
  6. Conduct monthly facility inspections and complete performance bonus assessments for Club Managers.
  7. Manage effective communication with all operational staff within the district, ensuring regular updates with Club Managers.
  8. Coordinate and manage District PE at PF initiatives, including hiring, training, and weekly planning, while tracking class participation and maintaining monthly trainer communications.
  9. Guarantee seamless operations across all locations in the district, stepping in as Club Manager when necessary.
  10. Address all incoming complaints and feedback from district locations.
