Your Role

The core responsibilities of this position encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Strategically allocating staff based on operational demands and productivity metrics.
  • Setting short-term objectives for individuals and departments.
  • Developing departmental schedules and anticipating resource needs (supplies/tools/equipment) based on seasonal trends.
  • Driving continuous improvement by enhancing systems and processes.
  • Creating and updating training materials and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Resolving issues by addressing concerns and escalating matters related to personnel, processes, or systems.
  • Providing constructive performance feedback to help meet and exceed established benchmarks.
  • Maintaining productivity levels to align with service standards and departmental objectives.
  • Communicating productivity metrics effectively across the department.
  • Overseeing the preparation and upkeep of reports essential for departmental operations.
  • Generating periodic reports for senior management to track goals and achievements.
  • Ensuring employee safety training is maintained and addressing any safety incidents.

You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a passion for mentoring, training, and developing team members for career advancement and performance enhancement. Your time management abilities allow you to serve as the primary information source for your team, ensuring compliance and consistency while taking corrective actions when necessary.

  • Lead and develop a team of frontline supervisors, operations leads, and hourly associates in alignment with Deckers principles.
  • Act as the main point of information for the team, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Mentor and train teammates to foster career growth and performance improvement.
  • Create, communicate, and uphold processes and standard work procedures for supervisors and associates.
  • Identify and spearhead process improvement initiatives utilizing lean methodologies.
  • Build and implement productivity plans by analyzing work forecasts and determining labor requirements.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to share best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all associates.
  • Plan, coordinate, and delegate tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage daily inventory analysis, resolving discrepancies and issues.
  • Oversee stock item management, correcting descriptions and stock numbers as needed.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards and conduct regular inventory audits.

Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree in Business or a related field; or 3-5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
