Position Overview:
We are in search of an Executive Vice President of Finance who will serve as a vital strategic partner to the CEO and the executive leadership team. This role is essential in guiding the financial direction of the organization and ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives. The EVP of Finance will also oversee the IT function, ensuring that technology strategies support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to evaluate organizational performance against industry benchmarks and strategic goals. Analyze the financial implications of significant business decisions and operational challenges, providing insights that drive future performance.
  • Enhance the capabilities of finance, accounting, and IT teams, fostering a culture that balances people development with performance excellence.
  • Establish credibility across the organization and with external stakeholders, effectively addressing business challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive tools and systems that deliver critical financial insights to the CEO and Board, making strategic recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Engage with the Board and investors on emerging trends and operational changes, driving actionable plans to enhance performance.
  • Lead the budgeting process and coordinate annual financial plans, identifying key investment opportunities and performance enhancement strategies.
  • Oversee financial planning in alignment with strategic initiatives, particularly in relation to potential acquisitions and significant investments.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and integration across the organization, promoting a unified approach to business operations.
  • Manage the IT strategy, focusing on digital transformation and technology initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Supervise all financial reporting systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Oversee cash flow management and forecasting, optimizing banking relationships and cash position strategies.
  • Monitor budget implementation and present financial metrics to internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other external partners.
  • Collaborate with operational teams on contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in market dynamics and profitability analysis to inform pricing and contract decisions.
  • Travel as needed to engage with internal and external stakeholders globally.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a forward-thinking CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, cost accounting, and industry-specific best practices.
  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a focus on operational excellence.
  • Proven track record in building high-performing finance teams that contribute to organizational growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A collaborative leader with a flexible approach and a strong partnership mentality.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including successful integration strategies.
  • Familiarity with complex, global manufacturing environments, ideally in a private equity context.
  • Experience managing financial compliance in a leveraged environment.
