Position Summary

We are seeking a Retail Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating closely with our Retail Store Management to ensure the smooth operation of our store while providing exceptional customer service. The Retail Team Leader plays a crucial role in achieving sales targets, maintaining safety standards, and managing expenses effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train new team members on effective sorting and processing methods for merchandise.
  • Address routine customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Organize and display merchandise on the sales floor according to company standards.
  • Sort and price incoming donations accurately.
  • Receive and document donations from the public with precision.
  • Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with various projects as needed.
  • Deliver outstanding customer and donor service with a friendly demeanor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of one year of retail experience preferred. Experience in training others is also advantageous.

Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to lead and inspire others. A genuine passion for community service and making a positive impact is essential.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods. The role requires the ability to lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Tasks may involve repetitive motions, such as tagging or hanging clothing, necessitating manual dexterity.
