Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? Meeting Street is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Early Intervention.

We are a special place of learning, where children of all abilities have the opportunities to grow and thrive. Our brand-new Early Childhood Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for our young students.

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Meeting Street, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of families, providing individualized home-based and virtual services to support the development of children ages 0-3. You will assess the functional capabilities of each child, identify potential developmental delays or risk factors, and collaborate with families to develop goals that fit into their daily routines and play.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the functional capabilities of children ages 0-3 relative to their age-appropriate milestones
  • Providing individual home-based and virtual services for a caseload of families
  • Collaborating with families to develop goals that fit into their daily routines and play
  • Teaching and coaching caregivers to integrate strategies into the family's daily routines
  • Continuously assessing progress and adjusting plans as needed
  • Consulting and partnering with a multidisciplinary team of professionals

Requirements include:

  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Rhode Island
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments
  • CPR and first aid certifications or willingness to become certified
