Job Summary:

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides clinical services to patients with speech, voice, feeding, swallowing, language, and/or cognitive impairments. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Health or have a Provisional License for Clinical Fellows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates patients' speech, voice, language, and cognitive abilities
  • Develops and implements individualized plans of care
  • Provides education and training to patients and caregivers
  • Communicates effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • State License issued by the Rhode Island Department of Health or Provisional License for Clinical Fellows
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

Work Environment:
