**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team at Cadence Education. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our young students, while collaborating with our passionate team of teachers and leaders to implement a research-based curriculum.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement a daily schedule that provides a balance of activities, including quiet and active play, indoor and outdoor play, and fine and gross motor skills.
  • Respect and observe children's interests, intervening when necessary to maintain safety and enhance their play with language, toys, and activities.
  • Encourage and model social behavior and expectations that are developmentally appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and leaders to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child's day.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet all state preschool lead teacher requirements.
  • High level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hours.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field.
  • Previous experience as a preschool lead teacher required.
  • Demonstrated classroom management skills preferred.
