Zillow is looking for skilled photographers to join our part-time real estate photography initiative. Utilize your photography expertise in the real estate sector by capturing stunning images, aerial shots, and 3D interactive floor plans to assist real estate professionals in effectively marketing their properties.

As part of our team, you will be at the cutting edge of real estate photography, producing media that potential buyers are eager to see when searching for their next home.

Photographers will be required to travel between job locations within their designated area, take high-quality media, and perform minor editing tasks.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity, with an expected workload of approximately 20 hours per week, contingent on your location and business requirements. There may be occasions where you will need to work beyond 20 hours per week to accommodate increased demand.

While this position is primarily part-time, there may be pathways to full-time roles as the business expands.

As a Photographer for Zillow and our Listing Media Services, your responsibilities will include:

  • Capturing still images, Zillow 3D interactive floor plan virtual tours, and aerial photography for properties on the market.
  • Employing advanced proprietary technology to craft engaging media experiences.
  • Transforming the home buying journey by delivering the media content that consumers desire when searching for a home.

This position is categorized as a Field role, meaning most of your work will occur within a specific geographic area determined by management. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to their assigned region.

In specific states, the standard base pay for this role is $27.30 per hour. This pay range is applicable to certain locations and may differ elsewhere.

In addition to a competitive base salary, employees in this role may qualify for incentive pay and equity awards, with actual amounts varying based on experience, performance, and location.

Who You Are

You are an experienced photographer with a knack for producing high-quality images, ideally in the realm of real estate photography. You possess excellent customer service and professional communication skills, as daily interactions with clients are a key part of the role.

You are a motivated, detail-oriented individual capable of efficiently capturing a property while upholding the highest quality standards. Punctuality is essential, as you will be expected to meet deadlines for media delivery.

As an independent worker, you are comfortable operating solo.

Requirements
  • Ability to learn Zillow's processes and systems.
  • Experience in capturing high-quality photography, particularly exterior and interior real estate images, 3D tours, and aerial photography.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain an FAA Part 107 drone license and operate a drone safely in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for business travel.
  • Access to high-speed internet for daily media uploads.
Required Equipment:

A DSLR camera capable of shooting in AEB mode and a wide-angle lens (for example, a Canon EOS 80D with the Canon EF-S 10-22mm Ultra Wide Angle Lens or equivalent).
