About the Role

Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Atlanta, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the quality of healthcare in our community.

This role is a key part of our quality improvement efforts, working closely with hospital staff and medical teams to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Improvement Expertise: Provide guidance and support to hospital staff on continuous quality improvement and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present reports on quality improvement initiatives and activities to relevant committees, teams, and task forces.
  • Communication Link: Serve as a liaison between committees, teams, and task forces, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with medical staff.
  • Quality Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality data for medical staff reappointment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare field, with at least 1 year of experience in quality improvement.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse disciplines, including physicians and nurses.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide presentations on quality and regulatory issues.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership and Facilitation Experience: Previous training or experience as a team leader and facilitator.
