Position Summary:
The Senior Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the international content division.

This position is accountable for assisting the team in ensuring the successful delivery of content for our IT Leader and Symposia conferences in the designated region, while crafting outstanding experiences for participants, sponsors, and team members attending the events.


Key Responsibilities:
Ensure impeccable execution of assigned conferences, collaborating effectively with the global content division.
Facilitate communication and teamwork across conference units to guarantee the smooth delivery of premier events. Prepare and present role-specific initiatives, insights, and analyses to stakeholders, leadership, and external partners both prior to and during the conferences.

Collaborate closely with program and conference management to create a client-centric agenda, and develop and implement new procedures for session management and agenda standards.

Act as a vital member of the global conference content team – foster strong relationships with colleagues across all regions, sharing best practices to continuously enhance the quality of our conferences worldwide.

Engage actively in the process of refining conference features and programs, while promoting attendee feedback.
Continuously assess the experience, feedback, and outcomes, implementing necessary changes. Generate comprehensive post-conference analysis reports and debriefs for review with management and team members.
Identify and monitor enhancements to the conference navigator tool, collaborating with the conference technology team on improvements and testing.
Demonstrate effective project management skills, including ownership and adherence to timelines and templates.
Partner with the Creative Attendee Journey team to enhance the attendee experience.
Collaborate with the logistics team on capacity planning, projection models, and room assignments.
Oversee conference content execution, including room monitor management, capacity oversight, session scanning, and feedback collection.
Comply with expense management protocols.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a focus on events and/or marketing preferred.
3-5+ years of experience in business meeting planning.
Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese is required.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive.
Experience in project management.
Outstanding customer service abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients at all levels.

Must be self-driven, confident in working independently, collaborative, and solution-focused.
Skilled in building relationships with both internal and external clients.
Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel within and outside the region, with expectations of up to 30% onsite delivery.
Adept at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible.
Understanding and appreciation of technology.
