Role Overview:
The Senior Event Coordinator plays a vital role within the global content division.
This position is responsible for facilitating the team’s efforts and ensuring the successful delivery of content for our IT Leader and Symposia conferences in the designated region, while creating outstanding experiences for attendees, sponsors, and team members participating in these events.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure flawless execution of assigned conferences, collaborating effectively with the global content team.
Engage in communication and teamwork across various conference groups to guarantee the seamless delivery of top-tier events. Prepare and present role-specific initiatives, insights, and analyses to stakeholders, leadership, and external partners both prior to and during the conferences.
Work closely with program and conference management to develop a client-centric agenda, and design and implement new processes for session management and agenda guidelines.
Act as a key contributor to the global conference content team – foster strong relationships with colleagues across all regions, sharing best practices to elevate the quality of our conferences worldwide.
Participate actively in enhancing conference features and programs, while encouraging attendee feedback.Continuously assess the experience, feedback, and outcomes, implementing necessary changes. Generate comprehensive post-conference analysis reports and debriefs for review with management and team members.
Identify and monitor enhancements to the conference navigator tool, collaborating with the conference technology team on improvements and testing.
Exhibit effective project management skills, including ownership of timelines and adherence to templates.
Collaborate with the Creative Attendee Journey team to enhance the attendee experience.
Partner with the logistics team on capacity planning, projection models, and room assignments.
Oversee conference content execution, which includes managing room monitors, capacity, session scanning, and feedback collection.
Adhere to expense management protocols.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a focus on events and/or marketing is preferred.
3-5+ years of experience in business meeting planning.
Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese is required.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive.
Experience in project management.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients at all levels.
Must be self-driven, confident in working independently, collaborative, and solution-oriented.Skilled in building relationships with both internal and external clients.
Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel within and outside the region, with expectations of up to 30% onsite delivery.
Adept at multitasking and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
