Position Overview:

As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational integrity of aircraft engines, adhering to stringent FAA regulations. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in maintaining aviation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate within a dedicated team to perform maintenance on turbine engines, engine modules, or components, following established work instructions and technical documentation.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment for the assembly, disassembly, and testing of jet engines.
  • Conduct thorough inspections during assembly and disassembly phases, ensuring compliance with quality standards through self and peer evaluations.
  • Monitor operational processes to meet safety, quality, and delivery benchmarks.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in aviation maintenance or relevant technical training.
  • Familiarity with Disassembly, Assembly, and Testing (DAT) procedures.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) certification.
  • Basic knowledge of Raytheon's CORE Operating System.
  • Experience in engine overhaul and repair, particularly with GTF and/or F117, PW2000 engines, focusing on Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, and Turbine Engine Test Operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
