Position Summary

As a Lift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ski lifts. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the safety and comfort of our guests as they traverse the stunning mountain landscape. This position offers a rewarding experience filled with the joy of providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor passenger safety while delivering instructions and customer service during the loading and unloading of ski lifts.
  • Operate lifts to maximize chair capacity in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Report maintenance needs proactively to ensure optimal lift performance.
  • Collaborate with the Lift Maintenance team to gain knowledge of lift equipment operations.
  • Implement emergency protocols as necessary, including coordination with Ski Patrol.
  • Perform snow-related tasks, including shoveling and maintaining lift areas.
  • Prepare lifts for operation by setting up and dismantling maze systems as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Promote environmental responsibility by managing waste and maintaining cleanliness at lift stations.
  • Provide assistance and information to guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • No prior experience is required; training will be provided for all new lift operators.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and exercise sound judgment regarding safety.
  • Physical capability to assist guests, shovel snow, and maintain lift areas.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of guests professionally.
  • Flexibility to perform various tasks during peak periods.
