Job Summary:

As a key member of our Ski Patrol team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff on the mountain. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of expertise, physical fitness, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote guest safety on varied terrain with varying winter weather conditions
  • Assist injured/ill guests on the mountain and administer first aid
  • Transport injured guests off the mountain using a toboggan or supporting air lift operations
  • Maintain trails, including hazard identification and setting up closures and safety materials
  • Transport supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need on skis/snowboard
  • Perform closing procedures at the end of the day to ensure that all guests are safely off the mountain
  • Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort Policies
  • Chairlift and guest evacuation
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Pass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environment
