Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Landfill Operations Coordinator. This role will provide administrative support to the Landfill Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support for the Landfill Department, including printing tickets, monitoring and tracking pricing, and inspecting loads.
  • Maintain correct levels of inventory for all plant and office materials, ordering new materials as needed.
  • Provide customer service by answering phones and responding to requests for information on tickets and invoices.
  • Maintain financial records, including collecting on past due accounts and conducting facility banking and deposit reports.
  • Coordinate customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate tickets are provided to customers.
  • Serve as a plant contact, working closely with supervisors and other facility personnel to coordinate site functions.
Requirements
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related clerical experience and/or education in waste identification and solid waste regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain documents and provide detailed record keeping.
  • Proficiency in using computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices, with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with people at all levels of the organization.
