The Digital Platforms team manages key platform programs, including CapitaStar, CapitaStar for Business, CapitaVoucher, CapitaCard, and other initiatives. Our focus is on driving business sustainability through profitability and value while injecting innovation and creating seamless customer experiences for CapitaLand's commercial, retail businesses, shopping malls, merchant, and partner networks.

This is a great opportunity for a high-caliber Business Development professional experienced in propagating interesting solutions and products to retailers and enterprises. As a Business Development and Account Management Lead, you will assist in solutions consulting and business advisory with a large untapped market to go after.

This role will report to the Team Lead of Business Development.

Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling solutioning products to partners and retailers.
  2. Pipeline development through a combination of cold-calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence.
  3. Seek out and develop long-term relationships with potential, new, and existing strategic partners and retailers.
  4. Structure and negotiate commercial deals that contribute to positive and sustainable business outcomes for Digital Platforms.
  5. Drive key business development initiatives from creation of new revenue streams to implementation of new solutions.
  6. Manage multiple project timelines to implement campaigns for partners and retailers.
  7. Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including product, tech, analytics, legal, marketing, operations, and finance to launch partner and retailer campaigns.
  8. Provide end-to-end partner and retailer support by being the main point of contact and proactively resolving any business or technical issues.
  9. Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative trends related to the business.
  10. Initiate reviews with partners and retailers, and strategise on how to further optimize results and outcomes.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  2. At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Account Management, selling Merchant Solutions or Media Advertising Solutions.
  3. Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and think creatively about partnership opportunities.
  5. Target-driven and proven self-starter with the ability to deliver targets in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Possess strong interpersonal skills, high tenacity, and is comfortable with working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  7. Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts and projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail.
  8. Passionate about technology trends, retail solutions, and experiences.
